Features
Memoify is a small app that does a few things well. Here's what's in it.
A countdown timer, front and center
The timer is the first thing you see on every page. You pick hours, minutes, and seconds with a scroll-wheel digit picker — no typing numbers, no fiddly steppers. Start it, and the active task's remaining duration ticks down live. Stop it, and the time you spent is saved against the task.
The timer survives reloads, tab switches, and device sleep. On mobile, you can hide it from the home screen if you want more room for the task list.
Tasks with duration, not just titles
Every task has a title, an optional rich-text description (headings, lists, links, code), a target duration, and a scheduled day. Drag tasks up and down to reorder — there's no server round-trip, so the new order sticks instantly. Split a task to divide its remaining time across multiple chunks. Punt one to tomorrow, next weekday, or a custom date when the day gets away from you.
Projects and collections
Group related tasks into projects. Group related projects into collections. Collections can be shared with collaborators by email — useful for a couple planning a weekend, a small team running a sprint, or a solo user who wants the same tasks on their phone and their laptop.
Calendar view with drag-to-schedule
A zoomable calendar shows your tasks at day, week, month, quarter, or year granularity. Drag a task onto a date to schedule it. Zoom out to see the shape of the next month; zoom in to plan tomorrow morning.
Smart suggestions
Memoify looks at yesterday's incomplete tasks and offers a one-click "move to today" for each one. Connect your Google Calendar and it will suggest tasks built from today's events, with the duration pre-filled from the event length. Everything is a suggestion — you decide what actually makes it onto your plan.
Save links as tasks from anywhere
On mobile, Memoify registers as a share target. Hit "share" in any app, pick Memoify, and the link lands in your task list with the title and description already parsed. Good for articles you want to read, videos you want to watch, or shop items you want to decide on later.
Private mode
You can flag any task as private, which keeps it in the local database and out of the sync pipeline. Useful for personal errands you don't want appearing on a device you share.
Installable, offline, fast
Memoify is a Progressive Web App, so you can install it on macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, or iOS with one click — no app stores. Once installed, it launches in its own window and works without a connection. Data syncs automatically when the network is back.
